The Affinity Group of Companies believes businesses should be the heart and soul of their communities and should take a leading role in addressing local challenges and issues. Through the years, we have strived to make a difference by teaming up with various organizations, including Feeding America® and the Make a Wish® Foundation.
Feeding America®
In 2017, The Affinity Group partnered with Feeding America® to provide meals in the Michigan area. Our involvement with Feeding America® was prompted in part by the 100 Million Meals Challenge that was led by best-selling author, entrepreneur and life coach Tony Robbins.
The problem of hunger in our country and in our community is real. One in six people in the United States are food insecure, meaning they don't know where their next meal will come from. Hunger especially affects children, with more than 15 million food-insecure children in the United States.
Make A Wish® Foundation
Somewhere in the world a wish is granted every 37 minutes to a child with a life-threatening medical condition. Through the first “Swish For A Wish Bracket Challenge,” we set out to help make that wish happen for 4-year-old Ariya with a collective mission to raise $7,500 and send Ariya to meet Minnie Mouse.
